Aybars Asci brings his expertise on supertall buildings to the research & design projects of Efficiency Lab for Architecture.

Efficiency Lab for Architecture’s Supertall tower project at downtown Manhattan explores a braced bundled tubed structural system. The angle of the braces is tuned to the structural behavior of the tower, creating an efficient dia-grid.

Al Hamra Tower, at 412.6 meter, is the tallest building in Kuwait. The unique design of the project is widely recognized, and it received design awards from AIA, CTBUH, MIPHIM and Chicago Athenaeum. TIME Magazine named Al Hamra Tower one of the best inventions of 2011. Discovery Channel created a documentary on the project.

Baccarat Tower, mixed-use building located directly across from MoMa in New York. The program of the tower has a New York public library, and a luxury hotel at the podium, and the residences on top.
